Der Italiener in Wittlich

Pretty ignorant owner! Since my schnitzel was unbreaded the last time, I ordered it extra breaded for the next order (that would not be a problem according to the employee) and of course it arrived unbreaded. With the next order, the same game again, had asked twice on the phone whether it is really breaded this time, which was clearly (almost unfriendly and abwimmelnd) affirmed! In the meantime I've found out that it was probably the owner very personally. 2 stars are only given for 2 employees who have always been extremely friendly, even when it was busy. The other star is actually for the food, which is tasty despite the circumstances. Praise to the kitchen and one or the other service but certainly not to the boss.

The pizza is very large and delicious except for the edge, the location is also beautiful, but the service leaves a lot to be desired and the pasta dishes are not very recommendable.

Visited at the weekend, zero hygiene concept, wait staff refuse to wear a mask, boss only sometimes, no guest documentation, catastrophic, doesn't work at all, actually zero points.

I had reserved a table for a group at the old Wittlich. Since we take the corona measures seriously, the leader has assured me that she will cover the group in a separate room. In the evening we found the table in a tightly packed room, close distances, bad air. 2 of the 3 service staff did not wear a mask, data were not recorded. Upon request, the boss also refused to wear a mask. She was rude. In the stuffy air we waited over 90 minutes for pasta that was partially overcooked. Old Wittlich again under different management.

The salad and the pizzas tasted very good. The pizzas are huge and have plenty of toppings. The price-performance ratio is right here. Unfortunately the service was very unfriendly: /

Good portions, reasonable price and good taste. But please ... replace your knives. Cutting the pizza was really an absolute impertinence. Otherwise gladly again!

My meal was good ..... salad. Well-known pasta with chanterelles and scampies ordered ..... but without scampies it was delicious .... then the bill came I almost fell off my chair ........ 48. Euro 😂. Salad 11 euros Noodles with chanterelles 19.90 2 coffee 1 water ..... INCREDIBLE ........ 19.90 Noodles with chanterelles and scampies but has not given up on the scampies

This restaurant does not adhere to the hygiene rules. There is no disinfectant dispenser in the entrance area, the service runs from table to table without a nose, mouth protection, addresses of guests are not recorded, and apparently no tables are disinfected either. This behavior is more than borderline. The food: the pizza was ok, the spaghetti carbonara were overcooked; dm. the egg was overcooked, i.e. it looked like a chopped up fried egg. My tomato caprese with arugula would be served completely without arugula. When I asked, I was given a completely oily portion of rocket. If we hadn't noticed that the hygiene rules were not being observed in any way when we were serving the food, we would have left the restaurant immediately.

we went to eat here with our guests on Friday. we were pretty much the first guests in the restaurant. At first we were amazed that we had to wait over an hour for our food, even though other guests who came after us already had their food. ok, when the food came, the pasta with tomato sauce was so hot that our guest didn't could eat. There was nothing on the menu about the degree of spiciness. (komentar des obers: That's because of the chily) We also ordered a pizza. it was so rubbery that it was hard to cut. When the leftovers were removed and we said that the pizza was not edible, they just said snippy and unfriendly, we should have said that beforehand, we don't have to pay for the pizza. in the end we had to pay them. we assume that the pizza was ready earlier, the rest of the meal was forgotten (long waiting time) and the pizza was then warmed up again after an hour. We were also amazed that in times of Corona no form had to be filled out. is that no longer mandatory? in any case, it is clear that such behavior is not possible. Fortunately, the Italian is not the only restaurant in Wittlich and we will no longer enter this shop

Pizza huge and very tasty. Good red wine, tasty spaghetti and acceptable side salad. Service friendly and on the ball. 1 star deduction for the ambience when sitting outside. Quite noisy and a bit uncomfortable because of the busy street.

Really delicious food in a great atmosphere. Prices are absolutely fine and the portions are huge. Staff was very friendly. Gladly again!

This Italian has a nice atmosphere. The pizzas are very tasty and big on the plate, the salad is nice and crunchy Toiletten the toilets are old-fashioned but clean and the whole restaurant ieThe waitress works at the pace of an Italian 😂Goods are often here, even as a large family you are welcome there😍

We ordered the 2nd time there today and are more than satisfied :) !! Super dear service and huge portions! We are still raving about it and it was already 2 hours ago;) We are also thinking about what we want to eat there next time ...;) Thank you! Take good care of you!

Received very burnt bruschetta and a, literally, tasteless mushroom risotto. What made it worse was the mushrooms in the risotto had been boiled for so long that they were completely full of water and had a horrible texture. The lady that waited us was nice but the chef and other customer service in general was garbage. The chef said that is how the risotto "is supposed to taste"... Thank god it wasn't my first risotto otherwise I would have never ordered my favourite dish again. What an idiot haha. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.

Delicious huge portions. Unfortunately it was very loud here, presumably a few sound absorbing decorations (more curtains?) Could help here. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars. 😕

We were eating here today. First of all, it was delicious and the service was very friendly. Can only recommend a visit. The ambience is simple but very harmonious. I can't find anything negative about the quality of the food. It was very tasty and our wishes were also taken into account. We didn't have to wait long for our food. After about 1.5 hours we were satisfied and satisfied. Unfortunately there is one point that bothered me. It was very loud, although there weren't many guests. A "normal" conversation was difficult. A few more curtains, or a small "wall" in the middle could fix this. Everything is barrier-free inside the restaurant, only the main entrance has 3 steps.

Best Pizza in town

Usually I don't leave any negative review if it is unnecessary. But this time I and my husband were so disappointed about this place. (We have visited here several times) Today my husband was eating "Trevi" pizza and he found out a half inch screw from the pizza. It was terrible and the more terrible thing is the reaction of servers. They look embarrassed but didn't apologize well. I don't want give even one star. They are not deserve it. Please don't go that place unless you don't mind about taking a risk of breaking your teeth. Or bring a metal detector for your own safety.
